Fillers

Fillers are special gels injected into the layers of the skin using a fine needle to fill in wrinkles, restore volume and shape facial contours. In cosmetic treatments, hyaluronic acid fillers are the most commonly used type.

Facial fillers can be applied to various areas of the face, such as the cheeks, cheekbones, under the eyes, chin and jawline, with the goal of lifting and defining contours. Lip fillers are also very popular, giving the lips a fuller, more defined and attractive appearance.

Filler treatments are minimally invasive and provide quick, visible results, but it is important that they are performed by a qualified professional to avoid unwanted side effects. The effects of hyaluronic acid fillers typically last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the type of filler, the treated area and individual characteristics. A consultation with a dermatologist or aesthetic medicine specialist is recommended before treatment.
