Electric hair brushes have become very popular thanks to their easy application, fast and reliable results, and their multifunctionality. Most of these products can be used not only for straightening, but also for curling hair and creating different hairstyles. Also, electric hair brushes exist as so-called 2 in 1 products: hairdryer and hair styler. Therefore, they can be used simultaneously for drying hair, significantly shortening the overall time of hair styling.

The electric hair straightening brush works on the principle of heating, similar to how a hairdryer and a blow-drying brush work together. Unlike a straightener that shapes (straightens or curls) hair with heat, the brush also combs the strands, giving them a more natural look and volume.

The main advantages of a hair straightening brush:

  • Quick and easy hair straightening in just a few minutes;
  • Ability to create curls and wavy hairstyles;
  • No hair pulling or strand breaking;
  • Natural look with extra volume.

Another advantage of this device is that when using a hair straightening brush, there is almost no possibility of injury in the form of burns. During hairstyling, the body of the brush that heats up practically does not come into contact with the skin.

Although the hair straightening brush is very easy to use, to achieve the best results, it is important to pay attention to a few details. If you use a brush that is not also intended for hair drying, be sure to completely dry your hair and comb it beforehand. Prior to using any device that emits heat, apply a heat protection product to your hair. If the brush you are using has the ability to adjust the temperature, first adjust the settings to your hair:

  • Synthetic hair can be styled at temperatures below 110 °C.
  • Thin, damaged or bleached hair can withstand temperatures from 150 °C to 170 °C.
  • For normal and healthy hair, it is recommended to style at temperatures from 170 °C to 200 °C.
  • Coarse, thick hair that is difficult to style, can be styled at temperatures from 200 °C to 230 °C.

Always wait for the brush to heat up to the set temperature, and then use it. Simply take strand by strand and comb your hair with the brush until you achieve the desired look.

Best Electric Hair Straightener Brush

There are numerous hair styling devices on the market, including electric brushes, straighteners, and curling irons. Although they all work on a similar principle, there are certain differences that can influence the choice of the appropriate product. Below, we present a few of our favourites among the electric hair brushes.

It has rounded ceramic needles of different lengths, which are coated with keratin and macadamia oil, giving the hair extra smoothness and shine. Thanks to the innovative arrangement of needles and quality materials, the brush easily glides through the hair without pulling and prevents it from tangling. The brush has a so-called cool tip, which further facilitates hair styling. The device automatically turns off after 60 minutes of non-use. This is a small but significant advantage for all those who think about whether they have turned off the previously used iron after leaving the house. In a metal box, along with the device, a protective, heat-resistant pad is also provided, which can be used as a case for storing and carrying the device. It is made of eco-friendly materials and is very practical.

LEE STAFFORD Curl Up & Dry Electric Hair Straightener Brush

If you prefer multifunctional products, this is an excellent and very practical option. The LEE STAFFORD Curl Up & Dry Hair Brush is designed for quick hair drying and styling. It can be used on completely dry hair, but the best results are achieved when using the brush on damp hair.

It has two interchangeable attachments: a brush with two types of needles and a perforated cone. The cylindrical brush, 38 mm in diameter, allows hair straightening or creating gentle waves with extra volume. The cone-shaped attachment is used for getting loose, smaller curls. This hair straightening brush has two speed settings and the ability to apply cold air during hair styling. Thanks to the shorter application of cold air, the curls remain firmer and better fixed. An additional advantage of this device is that it comes with a UK and EU adapter for different sockets, so you can, for example, carry and use it during trips to England.
